WBCM is proud to introduce Dave Briglio, PE, as the new Chief Engineer of the Environmental Water Resources (EWR) department. The addition of Mr. Briglio serves to further strengthen WBCM’s EWR presence throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and the rest of the Mid-Atlantic.
Mr. Briglio has over 28 years of engineering experience spanning the entire range of survey, design, and construction of State and municipal road and water systems. He has focused his career on stormwater management and water quality. Mr. Briglio’s experience includes: pipe, culvert, and bridge hydraulics; stream and outfall restoration, pond, regional floodplain, LID/ESD/Green Infrastructure design and maintenance, and dam breach modeling; and drainage, flood mitigation, and water quality improvement retrofits. He has developed or expanded more than 20 NPDES Phase I/II communities and provided support to the Chesapeake Bay Watershed Implementation Program and TMDL compliance programs in multiple states. He has also developed manuals for and taught courses on stormwater management. Over the course of his career, Mr. Briglio has been recognized by his peers for project performance and professional ethics and integrity.

Mr. Briglio received his Bachelor of Science in General Engineering from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and his Masters of Science in Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Maryland, Illinois, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia and he has been an active member of WEF/CWEA, MAMSA, and ACEC.
