Duties:                             The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all-encompassing.  Each person is expected to help out in whatever duties are required to deliver a quality product on schedule. 

• Perform field investigation;
• Perform site layout, geometry & grading design related to site projects;
• Perform storm drain & inlet design related to site projects;
• Perform stormwater management design related to site projects;
• Perform sediment & erosion control design related to site projects;
• Apply previous experience in plan preparation, CADD, environmental permitting, TR-20 and HEC-RAS modeling;
• Apply previous experience in Microsoft Office;
• Develop construction documents for permits and bidding;
• Perform construction-phase services such as shop drawing review, respond to construction questions and requests for information, site visits and preparing as-built documents;
• Individual is flexible and may work with numerous project members to help in project completion;
• Must have a valid driver’s license and have own transportation as local travel is sometimes required;
• U.S. citizenship required for entry onto U.S. military installations;
• Interaction with reviewing agency

Experience:                  8+ years and Professional Engineer

Skills:                           MS Office Suite.  TR-55, TR-20, HEC RAS, Land Development         Desktop (AutoCADD). 

Education:                    Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering or experience equivalent as defined by higher education graduate.

Working Conditions:    Mostly indoors, some outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.  Travel sometimes required.  Overtime often necessary.  Minimal lifting – 10-20 lbs.
