Padonia Road Bridge Widening
Client: Baltimore County Department of Public Works
WBCM provided preliminary planning studies and prepared construction documents for a widened bridge to carry Padonia Road over the MTA Light Rail. Final design involved rehabilitation and widening of the existing concrete column piers and concrete cantilever abutments as well as complete replacement of the steel superstructure and deck.
WB&A Trail Pedestrian Bridge
Client: Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works
WBCM designed new substructures and wrote specification for pre-fabricated truss superstructures for two new bridges for the hiker-biker trail. Hydraulics and hydrology and scour studies were part of the design.
