Design
of new perimeter fence , entrance gates and gatehouses.
Due to BRAC requirements, the Letterkenny perimeter
fence was realigned. Design included new fencing, new
railyard fence and highmast security lights. New electric
remote control gates with CCTV monitors and new entrance
gates and guardhouses. One guardhouse was designed as
alt command post with bullet resistant structure.

was part of a joint venture with Henry Adams, Inc. who
performed mechanical and electrical design services.
Our firm coordinated the design work effort performing
topographic surveying, architectural, structural and
site design services. The work effort included field
investigation, design analysis, cost estimating, design,
contract documents, preparing construction specifications
and construction administration for RFI’s, shop
drawings and consultations. The project construction
cost was $3 million.
The
container repair facility consists of a 6,000 SF building
including an 800 SF storage area, water storage tank,
site lighting and access road widening. The ammunition
loading facility consists of a 2500 SF building for
loading operation support, 6200 SF unloading and storage
reinforced concrete pad, 5500 SF ammunition loading
reinforced concrete pad, 935 feet of a new railroad
siding, 360 feet of main railroad line realignment,
site lighting, site lighting protection, 380 feet of
water main relocation, 4350 SF storage area, 7000 feet
of access roadway and sanitary hold tank. Both areas
required grading for a balance site and erosion and
sediment control devices.
