WBCM actively serves the military community’s projects through a diverse scope of teaming agreements.
We currently hold an Indefinite Delivery Type, Multidiscipline Contract for A/E Services at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland, through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District. This is a $3 million contract with task orders extending outside of APG to Fort Meade, Fort Detrick and other military facilities in the region.
WBCM holds a contract as a quad-venture partner for Collocate MILDEP Investigative Agencies, MCB Quantico, Virginia, through NAVFAC, Washington. Total construction costs under this contract will range from $250-350 million. WBCM provided civil, survey, landscape architecture, structural, highway, bridge and traffic engineering services for the development of RFP Design/Build documents for the collocation of Army, Navy, Air Force and other Department of Defense investigative agencies into a new 734,641 SF office building at the Marine Corps Base, Quantico.
Under a Design/Build agreement with an 8(A) contractor, WBCM has designed and engineered SCIF/SCRIF facilities for the Pentagon, as well as other high-security projects for additional facilities under the contract, including Andrews Air Force Base, Ft. Meade and the U.S. Secret Service Rowley Training Center.
We have valuable anti-terrorism experience and offer vital force protection
services. WBCM’s leadership and key staff have pursued continuing education,
provided by organizations such as the Society of American Military Engineers
and the American Society of Civil Engineers, on these services and measures.
Since September 11, 2001, we have committed to an even more aggressive schedule
of study and training on the necessity of—and the military and private-sector
requirements for—force protection measures.
