
David L. Fox promoted to Vice President
WBCM is pleased to announce that David L. Fox has been promoted to Vice President. “David has exemplified dedication to the firm’s values during his 22 years with WBCM. He recognizes the value of this position at WBCM and is committed to continue to serve the firm and his clients with professionalism and dedication. I am happy to congratulate and support him on his continued success” said Steve Burdette, Vice President, Architecture.
Mr. Fox has had experience with State and Federal Governmental projects, performing work for the US Army, Department of the Navy, General Services Administration, US Postal Service, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Maryland Department of General Services, Maryland Department of Transportation, Maryland Transit Administration, Maryland Aviation Administration, Baltimore City Public School System, and several local Maryland counties. Moreover, he was instrumental in obtaining WBCM’s new 10-year USPS contract for facilities throughout Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and the District of Columbia. He has experience in programming, feasibility studies, building assessments, design, preparation of contract drawings and specifications, cost estimating, shop drawing review, and construction observation.
Mr. Fox became a licensed architect in 1990 and is licensed in 10 states as well as Bermuda. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, National Council of Architectural Registration Boards) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (1984). Mr. Fox has received his LEED accreditation in 2002 and has held an Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification (EDAC) from the Center for Health Design since July 2013. In addition, Mr. Fox has served as a mentor and design critic for thesis project reviews for M. Arch at Morgan State University.
