WBCM performed emergency post-earthquake structural building inspections for various clients immediately following the August 23, 2011 earthquake. The firm provided emergency response within hours after the earthquake and assessed buildings for clients such as the City of Baltimore, Loyola University Maryland, Notre Dame of Maryland University, the Maryland Department of General Services, the United States Postal Service, University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center, National Public Radio, Baltimore County Public Schools, and Howard County Public Schools. Through the course of the days following the earthquake, WBCM reviewed well over 100 structures, including courthouses, office buildings, schools, libraries, dormitories, hospitals, garages, and many special-use structures.
