WBCM provided structural engineering services for the adaptive reuse of an existing one-story 1950’s warehouse into 11 two- and three-story luxury townhomes totaling 65,000 square feet. The new units have an average ceiling height of 13 feet and range in size from roughly 4,000 to 6,000 square feet. The construction is LEED-certified and consists of a new concrete slab on metal deck, which is supported by structural steel beams and columns that were coordinated within the confines of the existing structure. The interior courtyard features a custom steel-suspended pedestrian bridge that links the second story of each townhome.
