WBCM provided extensive services for the Design-Build expansion of an administrative facility and parking structure at the Washington Navy Yard. Renovations to Building W200 included the demolition of interior and exterior walls and roofs and the design of a new floor infill area. WBCM provided analysis and design for anti-terrorism/force protection issues such as blast, controlled perimeter, and progressive collapse. The vertical expansion of Garage 405 added a sixth floor and 240 parking spaces to the existing parking garage. New shear walls and pile foundations on the north and south ends of the building were added for stability.
