WBCM provided engineering services for the design and construction of the new terminal building, a 35,000-square-foot structure that houses terminals, ticketing facilities, and a restaurant. The terminal included several upgrades, including the addition of a jet bridge. The building is predominantly steel-framed with exposed glulam wood beams and a wood roof deck for the saw-tooth clerestory area. The building and site were designed to meet current Transportation Security Administration safety requirements. The existing terminal remained in operation during design and construction of the new building.
