Marco Legaluppi, PE, President
Marco Legaluppi, PE assumed the role of president in January 2019. He has more than 35 years of experience and is a professional engineer licensed in 14 states. He has completed numerous projects totaling more than $100 million in value for federal, state and private sector. Mr. Legaluppi has experience with design, inspection, and assessment of structures including a wealth of knowledge with historic buildings and adaptive reuse of structures. His portfolio of work includes extensive work for The Engineers Club of Baltimore, the University of Maryland, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Andrews Air Force Base, Washington Navy Yard, and the U.S. Naval Academy. He joined WBCM in 1982 and assumed the role of principal in 2006. Mr. Legaluppi is a member of the Engineering Society of Baltimore (ESB), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), the Society of American Military Engineers, (SAME), the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), the American Concrete Institute (ACI), the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), the Maryland Construction Network (MCN), the Building Congress & Exchange (BC&E), and the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC). Mr. Legaluppi is also a member of the board of visitors who serve in an advisory capacity to the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Maryland. In addition, he is a current board member and President of ESB. Mr. Legaluppi is a life-long Baltimorean who graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering in 1984 and a MS in Civil Engineering in 1995.Â
