WBCM provided complete engineering services for the upgrade of approximately 36 bents of the 1970s wharf at Berths 11 and 12 of the Dundalk Marine Terminal. Six-hundred feet of the existing slabs and deck beams were removed and new pre-stressed concrete piles and pile caps were installed. The updated platform was designed to support a 1,500 PSF live load to accommodate roll-on/roll-off and container vessel loading and unloading operations. Phasing was coordinated with the MPA to minimize operational impacts on the active terminal during construction.
