WBCM conducted feasibility studies and developed design for road widening and the addition of sidewalk, a shareduse path, and crosswalks. Traffic data collected included crash data and vehicular traffic in addition to pedestrian, bicycle, and wheelchair counts due to a rehabilitation facility within the project limits. Road safety and walkability audits, traffic capacity, and level of service analyses were performed to determine required improvements. Two alternatives were considered, one to provide bicycle lanes in the future. Displays were developed for each alternative and presented at a public meeting. Maintenance of traffic, signing/marking, and lighting plans were designed, along with specifications and a cost estimate.
