WBCM provided structural engineering services for the preparation of final design documents for a steel-framed church sanctuary, educational classroom wing, and ampitheater stage.
The main sanctuary space was designed as a 19,000 square-foot multi-purpose room with exposed steel framework. Support areas encompassed classrooms, meeting areas, and offices in approximately 11,000 square-feet over two stories.
Structural design for the ampitheater was completed as part of a separate construction phase. The design consisted of the 1,600 square-foot ampitheater stage and a timber and steel-frame trellis canopy. Design included a 10-foot high retaining wall that supported the back of the stage, which was adjacent to a small pond and waterfall.
